Summit Cabin - Oubo Studio

The client designed an A-frame cabin that would capture the view of the valley at the end of the garden.

This presented a perfect opportunity to test materials and finishes that had long interested me however a tight budget and a long way from home meant this commission presented plenty of challenges. Hempcrete was utilised as combined insultation and internal finish whilst pine tar coats the larch cladding boards.
