Holly Water - Out of the Valley / Carnaby Studio

Nestled in the heart of the Devon countryside Holly Water Cabin is a secluded retreat for private escapes.

The brief set by the client - to build a timber holiday cabin that would help to diversify income to the farm - encouraged pairing rural aesthetics with luxurious living. The layout is focused on blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors and the façade plays with pattern and composition. The biggest challenge was managing this off-grid construction through a very wet winter.
