The lout beneath the cassock - BA(hons) Final Project

The final design module I undertook at the Manchester School of Architecture was named Processional City- a project that focused on urban public space and its transient but critical role as host for large gatherings of people. The lout beneath the cassock responds to Peter Breugel’s painting - The battle between carnival and lent -to create a market hall that occupies public space, disrupts large gatherings, provides sanctuary for individuals and repels vandalism.
